Russell Boltwood
Executive Vice President/ General Counsel

As the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Transpacific IP, Russell Boltwood is responsible for all operational and strategic aspects of the Company's legal function, including oversight of the Company's internal and external legal professionals, management of general corporate and business legal matters, IP portfolio design, acquisition, licensing and monetization strategies.

Prior to joining Transpacific IP, Russell was Of Counsel for the San Francisco-based law firm of Dillingham & Murphy, LLP, where he advised large, mid-sized and emerging companies in regard to corporate, venture capital, transactional, intellectual property and business development matters, with an emphasis on matters relating to China, Brasil, and other emerging economies. Prior to Dillingham & Murphy, Russell was General Counsel for UTStarcom, a NASDAQ-traded telecommunications equipment company, where he oversaw the company's initial public offering in 2000, its subsequent acquisition of nine companies, and numerous IP portfolio transactions.

Russell holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, a J.D. from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, and is a graduate of the Executive Program at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business in Palo Alto, California. A member of the State Bar of California, Russell is also recognized as a Certified Licensing Executive (CLE) by the Licensing Executives Society (LES), and is the author of several published articles regarding intellectual property, corporate governance and competitive intelligence matters.

Jack Fijolek
Senior Vice President/ Portfolio Strategy

Prior to joining Transpacific, Jack was the Corporate Vice President of Strategic Business Development at UTStarcom. In addition to managing transactions that unlocked hundreds of millions of dollars in tangible and intangible asset value, Jack provided strategic management for large patent portfolios there and at various previous companies.

From advanced research groups and senior management positions beginning at AT&T Bell Labs, 28 US patents have been granted to Jack as an inventor, and he has been the chief architect of numerous internet media and broadband software and hardware communication products. As a consultant, Jack has been called upon for licensing and litigation support, expert testimony, and trial exhibit preparation. Jack is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Jack is a former contributor to various telecommunications standards making bodies and has also been published by the International Technology Law Association, International Engineering Consortium, IEEE Press, National Engineering Consortium Annual Review Of Communications, Upperside International SIP Forum, Internet Telephony Magazine, American National Standards Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers and the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, among others. Jack holds an MS from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a BS from the University of Illinois, both in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences.

Jasmine Kway
Executive Vice President/ Business Development

Jasmine Kway brings to Transpacific IP her vast and diverse experience of IP and technology management from both the private and public sectors. As EVP Business Development, Jasmine leads the consulting practice in Transpacific that works with companies to identify opportunities in creating value from their IP through portfolio building and strategic management. The team also works with public research organizations and government agencies to develop best practices, strategies, initiatives and programs to create, manage and commercialize public sector IP. With the combined wealth of expertise and experience, Jasmine leads the team in conducting training programs internationally to all sectors and stakeholders of IP.

Prior to joining Transpacific, Jasmine was the Director of the National University of Singapore Industry Liaison Office (NUS ILO). She transformed NUS ILO into an engaging and forthcoming technology transfer office with a vision to create value from excellent science developed at NUS. Apart from managing and commercializing NUS IP portfolio, NUS ILO was also responsible for actively facilitating and promoting University-Industry alliances and partnerships, as well as negotiating licenses and corporate-sponsored research agreements. Under her leadership, NUS ILO became the leading technology management and industry liaison office in Singapore and around the region. Prior NUS ILO, Jasmine ran companies that commercialized technologies from various Institutions of Higher Learning related to the Marine Industry, as well as managed engineering teams in large-scale engineering projects. Jasmine has significant government sector experience, having formulated policies that promote innovation and entrepreneurship while at the Singapore Economic Development Board, as well as Singapore's IP Hub strategy and the Singapore Government IP Policy, while at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore.

Jasmine is a frequent speaker at technology transfer conferences, workshops and seminars. She is one of the standing trainers identified by the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) to give training at WIPO workshops and seminars in ASEAN and African countries. Jasmine is also an active member of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM). Jasmine holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physical Oceanography from National University of Singapore, and a B. Eng (Honors) in Civil Engineering. She is author of several scientific publications and many published articles relating to technology transfer and IP management.

KH Tung
Senior Vice President/ General Manager-Taiwan, ROC

As the General Manager-Taiwan, ROC and a member of the Transpacific IP Executive Team, KH Tung is responsible for the overall performance of Transpacific IP Taiwan. KH oversees all business development activities, including acquisition, licensing, transaction and monetization, as well as manages Transpacific IP ’s corporate and business legal matters, technical support and general administration.

KH has over 20 years of management experience in corporate strategy, business development, strategic alliance, corporate venture, factory operations, manufacturing outsourcing and strategic procurement management. He has worked in several multinational corporations and high-tech companies, including EDS, Flextronics and ASUSTek.

Prior to joining Transpacific IP Taiwan, KH was the Global Supply Chain Head and Vice President of Strategic Procurement Division in ASUSTeK. Here, he handled products manufacturing outsourcing, key commodities and mechanical components procurement and supplier management. Prior to ASUSTek, KH was the Vice President and General Manager at Flextronics Taiwan, where he was responsible for the company’s overall profit-and-loss performance, corporate development strategies, joint venture partnerships and strategic business relationships. KH played a crucial role in transforming Flextronics Taiwan Company from a small internal R&D support-oriented operation into a sizable company, with the full range of capabilities in business development, strategic procurement, corporate investment and product R&D.

KH holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the National Tsing Hua University of Taiwan, a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and an Executive MBA degree in International Business Management from the National Taiwan University, Taiwan.
